2023 High School Yearbook

This spread design was created for the 2023 yearbook of my high school Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute. The project includes a promotional poster design to generate excitement for the yearbook’s release, as well as a design for lapel pins that were given exclusively to students involved in photographing for the yearbook, ensuring they were easily recognizable during the shoot.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with other designers on the yearbook team, and it was an enriching experience to exchange ideas and work together to create a cohesive design. I was also assigned to supervise and give feedback to other designers, which helped me develop leadership and mentorship skills.

Additionally, it was exciting to explore a new software, Herff Jones EDesign, which was outside of the usual Adobe Creative Suite. I quickly adapted to the software, learning its features and tools to bring the yearbook vision to life. The designs reflect both the school spirit and the memories of the year, creating a lasting visual record for the students.
